1. Information Collection and Processing

We collect only the data strictly necessary for providing the DAIVE App services: your email address (for account authentication), profile parameters, and your text or audio diary entries.

AI PROCESSING VIA OPENAI API:
Audio transcription and AI emotional analysis are performed securely using OpenAI's API. Under OpenAI API terms, your private diary entries and data are NOT used to train public AI models.

Device and Log Data: Automatically, upon using the App, we may collect basic technical metadata, such as your IP address, device type, operating system version, and crash logs. This data is strictly used for debugging backend infrastructure, maintaining stability, and improving application performance.

2. Third-Party Services & Subscriptions

We use trusted third-party services to ensure the App functions properly:

Payments and Subscriptions: Subscription processing is handled securely by Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card or payment information on our servers.
Analytics and Crash Reporting: We may use diagnostic tools (such as Sentry or Crashlytics) to monitor app stability and errors. These tools process device state data anonymously.

3. Data Security & Encryption

All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS / TLS). We implement technical measures to protect your private journal entries against unauthorized access.

4. User Rights & Data Deletion

You maintain full ownership of your data. You have the right to access, update, export, or delete your personal information. You can permanently delete your individual diary entries or your entire account at any time via Profile Settings ("Delete Account") inside the app. Account deletion irreversibly purges your personal data and diary entries from our databases.

5. Legal Disclosures

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We will only disclose your data to third parties outside of our core service providers if required to do so by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, court order, or similar legal process, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and developers.

6. Age Limitations

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 13 (or the legal age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App.
